How the Group Training Program works:
Coach Ruthie will send out weekly training schedules for you to follow via email.
You will do your workouts during the week on your own or with a friend.
On the long mileage days we will meet up at ACU Lunsford Trail and do our long walks-runs together.
Please note that these group events do not mean you will have to
stay with a group, if you prefer to exercise alone, with your ipod,
that is just fine... we will have a short meeting before we begin, do
our training and then have a group stretching session afterward and
time to visit.

In the past, I have offered this training for free. However, as our
group has grown and the time requirements for my coaching has
increased, I have decided to charge a small monthly fee for my
services. Because I view this as more of a ministry than a business, I
want the cost to be prohibitive. I want anyone who desires to
transform themselves to join us. So, if you are currently in a
situation where you are unable to pay the fee, please, please, please
join us anyway! Be sure and read the section below and let me know if
you have any questions.
The fee for the Cool Runnings Group Marathon Training is $30.00* per month. For this fee you will receive the following:
- weekly workouts emailed to you
- Weekly workouts via our group practice times
- longer run meet ups
- information on various aspects of marathon and half marathon training
- support and encouragement via face book page
- access to Coach Ruthie for questions or concerns about your training
*Because I view this as more of a ministry than a business, I do not
want the cost to be prohibitive. No invoices will be sent. For those
who wish to pay, please do so on or around the first of the month.
